Jeroen Luyckx, PhD Candidate at Illuminare, has received a fellowship from The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. As of September 2019, Jeroen will be an Andrew W. Mellon Fellow at the Department of Drawings and Prints. The fellowship is part of his doctoral research on Hans Liefrinck I (c. 1515-1573): Antwerp Printmaker and Publisher in a Dynasty of Printmakers, supervised by Professor Jan Van der Stock. During his time at The Met, Jeroen will examine the graphic output of the Liefrinck family and work on his related book project.
